Our plastic waste story doesn’t just end at eliminating plastic straws (we gave away 50,000 metal straws already). One billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown away every year in the United States. CleanHub

Rainwater, wind, and floods transport plastic waste from land to the oceans, posing a threat to our precious ecosystems. In collaboration with CleanHub, emerginC actively engages in the collection of plastic waste before it reaches these vital ecosystems. Our efforts enable the safe retrieval and recovery of plastic waste bound for the ocean, fostering clean environments and generating sustainable employment opportunities in the global south. Committed to our cause, we aim to eliminate 11,023.11 pounds of plastic waste, contributing to a healthier planet.

Fair Trade Ingredients

Fair trade means fair pay and working conditions for farmers and supports sustainable practices that minimize our environmental footprint, so we incorporate fair trade ingredients in our products wherever possible. Our fair trade ingredients include aloe, shea butter, green tea, coconut oil, cocoa butter, and olive fruit oil. 

Plant Your Planet

The Pollinator Wildflower Mix provides gardeners an opportunity to help feed our stressed pollinator populations by providing nectar-rich flowers. Native bees, honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies, and hummingbirds will all benefit from having the flowers in this mix available to them. 

Grow Your Own

Growing your own vegetables puts you in control of the food you eat. Help us help you start your own vegetable garden with USDA organic mixed lettuce and arugula seeds, included with every order!

Wind Power

Our office is run on wind power and approximately 80% of our products are manufactured with wind power.

Packaging Choices

As part of our continued effort to cut down on fossil fuel use and reduce our carbon footprint, we are constantly working to better our packaging choices. Our sustainable packaging includes glass jars with biodegradable resin caps, bottles made from sustainably grown Brazilian sugarcane plastic, and other biodegradable options. We are constantly working to reduce our plastic use with the active goal of being plastic-free.
